It rings a bell is an English idiom. If something rings a bell, it sounds familiar to you, it reminds you of something you have heard before, though you may not be able to remember it very well. A name may ring a bell, so you know you have heard the name before, but cannot place it properly.
This blog aims to make English sound familar to students, so that they may use the language with confidence, reading and commenting on the different posts.

(Cuando algo te suena -rings a bell- , te resulta familiar es por que lo has visto u oído con anterioridad, aunque quizás ahora no lo recuerdas muy bien. Te puede sonar un nombre y estás seguro de haberlo oído antes pero no puedes situarlo con precisión.)
Este blog busca que el inglés les suene familiar al alumnado de modo que pueda usar el idioma con más confianza, leyendo y comentado en las diferentes entradas que se publiquen.
