The city of Paris is one of my favourite cities. It's the only place in Europe where you can find a great variety of monuments, beautiful buildings and a pleasant atmosphere. L´Arc de Triomphe, The Eiffel Tower, The Sacre Coeur, The Notre Dâme, The Louvre, Disneyland... There is no ending of the list of things you have to see.

ReplyDeleteNY is very big and it has every type of buildings, like museums, theater, skyscrapers and his architecture is also very beautiful. There are lot of places to visit and hang around like Chinatown, City Hall, St Marks place, Rockefeller Center, 34th Street Shopping Center, Times Square...

Paris and New York are very important and big cities, but London is more cultural.
ReplyDeleteLondon is the capital of United Kingdom in this city there are a lot of cultures and religions. Here we speak over 300 languages.
London has many monuments and museums.
The most important monuments is the Tower of London, Houses of Parliament with Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Abbey Road, Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square, Tower Bridge, Hyde Park, Regent's Park, The Mall, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, Piccadilly Circus, or Windsor Castle.
The most famous museums are the British Museum, Science Museum, National Army Museum, Imperial War Museum, Natural History Museum, National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory Greenwich.
London is a big city, so many means of transportation such as subway, taxi, train, etc. ..

Paris is a very important city in the European view, but I think that Oxford is better because it has got more history and culture among their streets.
ReplyDeleteOxford is situated in the county of Oxfordshire, in Great Britain, and is one of the biggest university cities around the world.
It has got a population of just under 165,000 people. The rivers Cherwell and Thames run through Oxford and meet south of the city centre.
You can move in Oxford by taxi, but there are cheaper transportations as the bus lines.
We can find in Oxford the Bodleian Library, which has got nine million of shelf kilometres with books and seats for 2,500 readers. It has been one of the numerous scenery for the cinematographic adaptation of Harry Potter’s books (it appeared in the two first films). The books enter in this library by a passageway which go under the city, for protect the books, some most of them are very old and come to this place to be repaired and to have a rest.
There’s too the University where J.R.R. Tolkien has written “The Lord of the Rings”, and where he has spent a lot of hours teaching students. Lewis Caroll, Oscar Wilde and C.S. Lewis are other celebrities who have coexisted in this place. It appears in a lot of novels with false names (In “His Dark Materials”, by Philip Pullman, is known as “Jordan School”, for example).
For the people who don’t like monuments, buildings and literature, I can say that the city has got a lot of shops when you can buy since the normal things and souvenirs like the famous Oxford Jumper and T-Shirt. There are a lot of restaurants and some interesting Book Shops.
Like other English Cities, you can go to take a cup of coffee to the Starbucks establishment.

Barcelona is one of my favourite cities. It's a beautiful city and a nice place. It has a lot of important buildings and places like La Sagrada Familia, the park Güell, the Cathedral of Santa María del Mar... It has a good climate. In Barcelona was born the modernism of Spain.

I think that París is an important city but my favorite city is venecia.
ReplyDeleteVenecia is composed by 120 small linked to each other islands by 455 bridges, if we include the islands of Murano and Burano.
It comes near to Venice for the Bridge of the Freedom, which accedes to the Piazzale Roma.
It is known as the city of the channels because it Is placed on a set of islands that Adriatic Sea spreads in a homonymous swampy lagoon in the sea.
Monuments can be visited as: Plaza of San Marcos, the palaces Ca ' d'Oro, Ducal Palace, Palazzo Fortuny .... and someone of the churches mas important as Basilica of San Marcos, Basilica of Holy Maria Gloriosa dei Frari...
You can visit her a foot but the form mas rapid and comfortable of seeing the whole city it is in gondola.

My favorite city is London, because it has a very attractive culture.
ReplyDeleteI like the lifestyle of the English people, because I consider serious people and happy people. When I was in Worcester treated I was tried very kindly.
The buildings I call attention, because it shows me is a company very stately.
It calls my attention the royal palace, as well as the simplicity of the house of the prime minister.
The Tamesis river gives a great charm to the city dividing in two parts. I like his avenues with large shopping centers and theaters.

My favorite city is barcelona because it is a very big city and with many habitants, in barcelona you can find the park Güell, the sacred family, la Casa Batlló, la Casa Milà that they are very nice, is a city with beach and the climate is soft.

There is La Rambla that is a neighborhood that has birds, flowers, street actors, restaurants and trades.

ReplyDeleteYou can visit the original park Güell, the Sagrada Familia, the cathedral of Santa Cruz and Santa Eulalia, the zoo, Las Ramblas, La Boquería, theater of Liceu, the triumphal arch, the Palau de la Música, one of bigger football field of the world, teh Camp Nou... You can saw the citywide in the Colom monument and walk in the port, in La Barceloneta...
Barcelona is recognized as a global city for its cultural, financial, trade and tourism.
It’s a great and impressive city.

ReplyDeleteVienna is a capital of Austria, a city of Central Europe and the Danubian is the principal river across this city.
Vienna is the biggest city, political and cultural center in Austria. La UNESCO declare the Central historic of Vienna World Heritage Site for his buildings.
I like this city because there are some monuments to visit :
-The imperialCourt Theatre
-Academy of Fine arts
-Kahlenberg, the Vienna Wood, with the most spectacular vantage point of the Danube River
-Church of St. Charles Borromeo masterpiece of Baroque architecture
-Museum of History of Art one of the richest in the world

-Palace Berlvedere
-Parlament
-State opera
One of the places more visited is Hofburg's Imperial Palace ,the biggest castle of Vienna where there lived the princess Sisi, the princess more important and known.
The streets with the fashionable shops of the most prestigious and expensive ; also they find delicious coffees.
One of the biggest Musician, author of famous waltzes, marches and popular melodies is Johann Strauss . He was born in Viena. Also it celebrates the International festival of Cinema of Vienna and the Season of dance Viennese.
Vienna is a big city, so many means of transport are the subway, taxi, train, bike etc. ..

My favorite city is hollywood because it has many shops of clothes and there are many famous.here it's the walk of fame with many stars with names of famous as michael jackson bob marley ... also the theatre Kodak, THE CHINESE THEATRE, THE EGYPTIAN THEATRE, which they find in hollywood boulevard. Also Hollywood Wax museum... I love this city because here many movies have been rolled. It's the city of the movies and series.

My favorite cities are Madrid and Barcelona but the one that I like is Barcelona.

It had many monuments as that of Cristobal Colon, and important buildings as The Sagrada Familia , the cathedral of Santa maría del mar, different types of museums and a few precious beaches.

I think that all the cities have something special, but if you love skiing you must go to Innsbruck.
ReplyDeleteInnsbruck is situated in the western part of Austria and is the capital of the state of Tyrol. Innsbruck sits in a very wide valley between some extremely tall mountains. This city serves as an ideal place for skiing in winter, and mountaineering in summer.
There are several ski resorts around Innsbruck and the Olympic Winter Games have been there twice.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite place isn't exactly a city , it's an island. This island is Bora Bora, in the French Polynesia, 260km to the norwesth from Thaiti. It's formed by a volcano, it's surronded by lagoon and separated from the sea by a reef. It's one of the most exotic places around the world , it has some hotels and you can sail,swim in the sea or only be separate from the world.

ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of many beautiful places that you can visit like for example: Westminster, Palace,Trafalgar Square,Parliament Square,St.Paul's Cathedral...
If you are interested in art you can visit the best museums in the world like the British Museum, The Natural Museum...and if you are interested in classical music you can go to the Royal Albert Hall. A part of from that you can walk around the city ,going shopping ,visiting the big parks…
I love Trafalgar Square because is a famous square located in the city center.It commemorates Nelson’s great novel victory over the French
The worst thing in London is the weather.
If you go there,you will go in summer but sometimes it rains.

ReplyDeleteIn London, there are a lot of interesting places to go.
You can visit Shakespeare Globe Theatre, Windsor castel, the beautiful Kew gardens,
the tower of London and the Tower bridge, without forget the two most importants icons of London, the Big ben and London eye.
London eye is one of the three biggest ferrist wheel in the world. The Big ben is a big clock builded near the parliament.
You can go shopping to Camdem town, and there, you can find everything that you can imagine.
I Love London because I think is a very beautiful and modern city

My favourite cities are Paris an New York, but i prefer New York.

You can visit a lot of interesting places, for example: Empire State Building, Ellis Island, Broadway theater productions, museums such as the Metropolitan of Art, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Bronx Zoo and Botanical Garden. The luxury shopping on Fifth and Madison Avenues.
If you like music, you can visit: the New York Philharmonic, the New York City Ballet, the Vivian Beaumont Theater, the Juilliard School and Alice Tully Hall, is the performing arts center largest in USA.
It is the only city in which more than half of people don´t have a car and they use transport public.
I love this city because here doing very famous films, for example Coming to America with Eddie Murphy, Madagascar,King Kong.. and series , Csi: New York, friends.

I think that New York is a beautiful city, it’s very big and it has got tall buildings and some that they are known in all the the world as the Empire State…
In New York is very developed the commerce and I love to go shopping.
In New York you can visit more places as the Isla Ellis, theater productions of
Broadway, museums as the Metropolitan of Art, the Central Park, the Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Zoo Bronx and the Botanical garden

My favorite city is Santorini. It is an island of Greece. It is different from the rest of the islands, has form of half moon and they are several small islands. I have never been but I would like to go because I am charmed with the harmony that has with all the white and blue houses and the tranquilida that exists in his islands. It does not have many things to see but it calls my me the attention. Paris also is a very nice city but I like it mas santorini.

I haven't a favourite city, because unfortunately I don't know all the cities, so I can't choose, but really I love Roma.

It has a lot of interesting places, like La fontana di Trevi,or the Popolo's square, and now, I like more, because I have read "A tres metros sobre el cielo" and the story happens in Roma, and it's very exciting read places where I have been.

For me,New York is the best city around the world clearly.like most of the american cities, is well known by the skyscrapers, but you can go too to the Central park,the Fifth avenue, China town, Times square and too many different places. Don´t forget the museums and the theaters because they are always at the art´s forefront. How you know NY has the most famous and beatiful buildings and just taking a walk you would agree. For shopping is also a really good place. There are thousands of shops and you always find what you are looking for.

My favorite city is Prague, is a good place to visit it. You can see in this city the Astronomic Clock, The Plaza of the Old City and Carlos' Bridge.
ReplyDeleteIn Prague you can go afoot it is not necessary to use the transport to see the city.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite city is Berne. It’s the capital of Suiza. I like it because it’s situated on the middle of the Swiss Alps, where you can practise skiing, a lot. It’s a small city, but I think it´s alright. There are many
ReplyDeletebeautiful monuments, like the cathedral, the Federal Palace of Berne or the Bümpliz Castles. Berne climate is very cold, so if you want to visit it, you have to wear warm clothes!
I think New York, Madrid or Paris are very interesting too.

is internationally known as the global entertainment capial, with a population around half a million people registered is a sparsely populated hare been carefully compared to other like New York or Los Angeles but they come to register the visitors twice that of people who live there . The city in Nevada County is also known as l sin city ... xd, and it is said, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. For this and many other things when I turn 18 I will try to make a trip to Las Vegas.

I like Paris a ton, I've been there once. But my favourite city is certainly Lisboa.
ReplyDeleteLisboa is the capital or Portugal. It's located in the river mouth of Tajo. It's clean, wide, and very nice. I think it's the nicest city I've been.
There's a phrase that designes Portugal, and specifically Lisboa: "it's a palace habited by gypsies". And it's almost true! Most of the people who lives there is of lower classes, and the environmente is spectacular!
If someone says "Lisboa", you can think about many things: the "torre de Belem", the bridge called "April 25th"... Yeah, all of them are interessants. But really, the thing with I got efectively impressed was the "Elevador do Carmo". It's like an enormous but normal lift, but it connects some streets in different height! Going up there is an indescribable feeling! And it allows a panoramic view of the city.
Other interesting things in the city are the oceanographic (one of the biggest of Europe!), the "Parque das Naçoes"(the location of the Expo98)...and lots more.
You must visit Lisboa!!

My favourite city is Barcelona, because the weather is very good, in winter is a little hot and in summer you can go to the beach.

There are a lot of interesting places to go, for example you can go to the Sagrada Familia, or you can go to La Rambla, where are a lot of artists in the street.
There are a lot of restaurant too, where you can eat a Mediterranean menu.
I think Barcelona is better than Madrid, because is more interesting.
Going to Barcelona, is a good idea!
